- For a chance to apply for the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bhharat Scheme, visit the Public Service Center (CSC) and provide a photocopies of the original documents.
- The person who is the agent for Jan Seva Kendra (CSC) will examine all documents and confirm that the scheme is registered and provide you with the certificate of registration.
- In the next between 10 and 15 days, you will be presented with a gold card from Ayushman Bharat by Jan Seva Kendra. Once you have registered, it is successful.

- The first step is to sign in Google Play Store.
- You must type Ayushman Bharat into the box for search.
- A list of apps will appear in front of you. from the list, you must click the most popular app.
- Once you’ve done that, hit the install button.
- When you press the install button, Ayushman Bharat App will be installed on your phone.
Method of filing a Grievance or Track a Grievance
- The first step is go to the https://pmjay.gov.in/ of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme .
- Now,the home page will be displayed.
- On the Home Page on top click on the link to Grievance Portal .
- Once you click on the link the new portal will appear before you.
- You must click the link to Register Your Grievance to be able to register your grievance.
If you have already filed your Grievance then go back to the Grievance portal as mentioned above and click on “Track your Grievance”.
IS Covid 19 vaccination and treatment covered under Ayushman Bharat?

Covid treatment is also covered and a cashless facility is provided to poor families. Till Nov 2021, 8.3 Lakh people have been treated through Ayushman Bharat.
How to find a hospital empanelled for your state under Ayushman Bharat?
- Visit the official website at PMJAY on the top bar click on “Find a hospital”
- You can fill in the details and it will show the hospital in your state or district.
- On the same page above you can also have an option to the see the “Suspended Hospital List”
Conclusion
Ayushman Bharat aims to provide free health access to health care insurance for the low-income earners in the country which roughly covers about 50% of the country.
This is one of the biggest health insurance schemes across the world and provides basic health care to poor families.
As per the data from official website, 26 million hospital admissions have happened from the start of the scheme. Till 12th Jan 2022, 173 million Ayushman cards have been issued.
Please note that 4 states Delhi, West Bengal, Odisha, and Telangana haven’t implemented the Ayushman Bharat so it is not available and these states have their own health schemes.
